Original M16 German Stahlhelm helmet shell, model, identified by the early style ventilation bushings.
The helmet is preserved in battlefield relic condition, showing heavy rust and authentic patina from long-term exposure. The liner is no longer present, and the shell shows corrosion and age consistent with a genuine wartime relic.
Traces of the original paint are still visible on the helmet, adding to the authenticity of this piece.
Despite its relic state, the helmet clearly retains the classic wartime German Stahlhelm profile and makes a very interesting display item.

Relic condition with  rust and no liner. Sold as found.
A crack is present at the rear edge of the helmet, typical for relic shells that have spent a long time exposed to the elements.
