A rare and highly decorative matched pair of original U.S. Government shipping crates used during the American-led reconstruction of Europe after World War II.
These crates bear the iconic “United States of America” handshake logo, symbol of the Marshall Plan, representing America’s commitment to rebuilding Western Europe — including occupied Germany.
