Original World War II U.S. Army M1936 Musette Bag in khaki canvas.
Officially designated “Bag, Canvas, Field M1936”, this type was widely used by U.S. Army officers, paratroopers, and mechanized troops as a compact field pack.  
Constructed from heavy-duty canvas with original webbing straps and metal hardware. The bag features the typical flap closure with double straps, external pocket, and attachment hooks allowing it to be worn on field gear or as a shoulder bag.
This example shows honest wartime use with correct patina and wear:

•No modern alterations observed
