A fantastic and untouched Normandy barn find. These original U.S. WWII Signal Corps glass insulators were discovered in a barn in Normandy, France, and personally collected on site. These are the exact two insulators shown in the photos and are being sold together as one lot.

Rare original WWII U.S. Army Signal Corps communication line insulators, recovered in Normandy, France.

Manufactured by Whitall Tatum Co. U.S.A. and clearly dated 1943 (“4-43” / “37-43”).

The set still retains the original heavy steel mounting brackets with beautiful untouched field patina.

These insulators were used by the U.S. Army Signal Corps for wartime telephone and communication lines during and after the Normandy campaign.

A very authentic and decorative WWII item, perfect for:
