Rare original vintage UNIC tube radio, believed to date from the late 1930s to early 1950s period, later used by the Belgian Army Welfare Service.
An exceptionally decorative and authentic large-format valve radio set, still retaining its original station dial, original knobs, original internal tube setup and military Belgian Army identification plates marked:
“ARMEE BELGE – BELGISCH LEGER – SERVICE WELFARE – WELFARE DIENST”
The radio is still functioning, which is becoming very uncommon for these early European tube radios.
The beautiful original front dial still displays many historic European radio stations including Bruxelles, Hilversum, Paris, Monte Carlo, Vatican, London, Luxembourg and many more.
