Offered here is a rare and highly collectible complete set of Edgeworth Pipe Tobacco by Larus & Brother Co., Richmond, VA, U.S.A.
This example consists of the original cardboard outer box together with the matching metal tin, both in very nice original condition.
What makes this piece particularly desirable is the presence of the original “FREE OF TAX – For use only of U.S. military or naval forces” seal, clearly indicating this was a tax-exempt issue intended exclusively for U.S. military personnel overseas (WWII period).
