A rare and highly decorative original British scarlet uniform set for a child, styled after the Royal Regiment of Artillery, dating from the late Victorian to early Edwardian period (circa 1880–1910).
This charming miniature uniform consists of a scarlet tunic and matching trousers, faithfully reflecting the iconic British Army full dress style.
The tunic retains its original Royal Artillery brass buttons, clearly marked “Firmin, London”, featuring the cannon and motto emblem. The black collar and cuffs with gold braid, along with the NCO-style sleeve detailing, further enhance its authenticity and visual appeal.
Such child-sized uniforms were typically used for cadet training, ceremonial purposes, or as youth representations of regimental dress. Complete sets like this are increasingly difficult to find today.
