Rare type P.12 RAF aircraft compass originally from RAF Watton, NorfolkThe Type P12 compass is an "inverted" compass which is viewed by the Pilot via a mirror. The mirror is attached to the compass and is adjustable to give the Pilot a clear view of the compass bezel. The mirror also has a "lock" facility to retain it in position. The mirror is attached to the compass by a wing nut and washer, both are present and original. The mirror glass is perfect.� The Compass bezel is marked,
