For sale is a rare WWII miniature Distinctive Unit Insignia (DI) of the U.S. 2nd Armored Division, marked STERLING with pattern number 20101.
These small-size insignia were wartime sweetheart pins or collar DI’s, worn on Class A uniforms, overseas caps, or given to loved ones during the war.
Far less common than the full-size DI badges.
