U.S. Protective Field Mask M9A1 – Complete Kit in Original Sealed Container – Cold War Era
Original U.S. military Protective Field Mask M9A1 complete kit, preserved in its original unopened metal container. These sets were issued to U.S. Army personnel during the early Cold War period (1950s–1960s) as standard chemical protection equipment.
The metal container retains its original olive drab finish with yellow stencil markings, including the instructions for opening the container. The side is clearly marked:
“MASK, PROTECTIVE, FIELD, M9A1”
This example remains unopened and still contains the complete original kit, including the gas mask, filter, and accessories as originally packed by the military.
The container still retains the original opening key, which was used to break the seal and open the box.
