A very rare WWII U.S. military postal delivery sun helmet, featuring an eagle-topped U.S. Post Office badge numbered 1614, marked “San Diego, Calif.”

The badge is in very good condition, with crisp details and clearly legible markings.

Khaki exterior with ventilation eyelets, green underside, internal sweatband and burgundy chinstrap.

A standout piece for collectors of WWII U.S. headgear and military postal memorabilia.

The helmet shows age-related staining, fabric wear and damage to the interior crown covering. Please examine all photographs for condition and details.
