Original Woman's Army Corps (WAC) Purse. Made of brown leather with a flat OD green cotton lining, this purse has two large compartments with four smaller pockets. An adjustable leather strap and snap closure. Used by WACs for carrying personal items as part of the uniform, this purse is in very good used condition,  green cotton lining.  No marks on purse . Leather is slightly stiff from half a century , but not brittle or cracking. A good leather conditioner will make this supple and like new. No serious defects found. Brown paint on adjustment strap buckle is mostly chipped away, Snaps in the back of the purse has several chips and some wear.No holes or wear to the interior lining. There is a small seam of 3 cm loose
