Beautiful original vintage Gillette Safety Razor travel set, complete with its metal case, purple interior, open-comb razor and  original “GILLETTE BLADES” metal blade boxes.
This type of Gillette safety razor was already in widespread use long before WWII, and Gillette razors were commonly used by American servicemen during World War II as part of their personal shaving and hygiene equipment.
The metal case is marked “King C. Gillette – Safety Razor” and shows numerous international patent dates. The razor and accessories display a wonderful untouched age patina.
